From 1994 to 1996, the Sabbioneta theatre was restored by Anna Di Noto and Francesco Montuori. The realisation of the project was in hands of Atelier Stephane Bétin. The most difficult part of this restoration was the reconstruction of the stage setting as designed by Vincenzo Scamozzi. Di Noto and Montuori gave another explanation of the reconstruction then we did in our model. The pictures give you an idea about the scenery in the present theatre, the text explains more about the starting points of the restorers.
